Where words grow wild. Hosted by Kathy, Wild Words is an evening where poetry and spoken words come alive—voices rise, emotions stir, and words weave from page to stage. This welcoming space is for seasoned poets, first-timers, and curious listeners to connect, share, and celebrate through stories, rhythm, or rhyme. Wild Winds won’t stop this monthly event, although Santa will – no event in December. Share adventures to the moon, the mountains, with paper planes or drinking wine. Where the words go nobody knows. Tex and Matt finally released the self-titled album Tex Perkins & The Fat Rubber Band album in November 2021 which they wrote and produced together and was followed by the band’s second album Other World in 2023. They play co-written originals, well-chosen heart felt cover versions and classics from Tex’s back catalogue (Cruel Sea, Beasts of Bourbon, The Dark Horses etc). Tex and Matt shows have been described by critics as often thrilling, deeply moving and a lot of fun.
